Overview
This 8-week course (meeting 4 times) surveys key distinctives of Reformed theology and practice, including predestination, ecclesiology and polity, worship and the sacraments, and eschatology.
Learners engage with Evangelical Theology: A Biblical and Systematic Introduction, the Pocket Dictionary of Theological Terms, and the Reformed Confessions.
Intended Competencies
Our learning together in community is intended to gain:

- an understanding of the essential and practical value for how systematic theology shapes one’s own identity, life, and ministry
- familiarity with significant theological terminology common to the Christian tradition
- the ability to distinguish between core doctrines, secondary Christian views, heresy, and matters of indifference
- the skill of communicating acquired biblical and theological knowledge
- thoughtful, critical, and charitable engagement with key theological topics related to the plan of God, the order of salvation, church government and practices, and the kingdom of God.
