Overview
This 8-week course (meeting 4 times) surveys key distinctives of Reformed theology and practice, including ecclesiology and polity, worship and the sacraments, and eschatology.

Learners engage with  Evangelical Theology: A Biblical and Systematic Introduction, the Pocket Dictionary of Theological Terms, and the Reformed Confessions.

Intended Competencies
Our learning together in community is intended to gain:

      • an understanding of the essential and practical value for how systematic theology shapes one’s own identity, life, and ministry
      • familiarity with significant theological terminology common to the Christian tradition 
      • the ability to distinguish between core doctrines, secondary Christian views, heresy, and matters of indifference 
      • the skill of communicating acquired biblical and theological knowledge 
      • thoughtful, critical, and charitable engagement with theological perspectives on topics related to the Bible, the Trinity, Christ, and salvation
